Some artists are very disconnected from the social media space and their fans, and sometimes that is understandable due to how some fandoms can act around artists and how hostile the internet can be. Being active on the internet, however, can bring a lot of benefits to someone's career.
Bbno$ is very active with his audience, not only when it comes to his cosplays and the people he collaborates with. He has been on podcasts with Smoth, and the Sad Boyz podcast, which help fans get to know the artist. He also interacts with fans on TikTok and Instagram, and in turn grows that wider audience.
“bbno$ just raised $103,000 at Baby’s Bonanza — and it’s all going to charity!” as quoted from Combster showing the charity that BBNO$ has towards different causes and how he is willing to do a lot to help people in lower income communities not only through his art but also with how he interacts with smaller creatives online.
He has interacted with different YouTubers and smaller channels along with bigger ones such as Smosh and has even made songs with fellow creators such as MoistCr1TiKaL for Lil’ Freak song and Smosh’s Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla for the song ‘Submissive & Breedable. When artists can collaborate with other artists, it can help not only to grow their reach but also make them seem more approachable.
Bbno$'s acceptance of the mental health subject has been very recent with newer artists, especially being real to the point of basing a whole song around the subject of taking antidepressants. That realness is what I loved to see, since I have been on sertraline since I was in my late teens. He shows the honesty and hope for mental health that he has.
He has talked openly about his struggles with building up to where he is today, and in a podcast with Smosh, he talked about his experience on antidepressants and how they work and that there shouldn't be such a stigma behind it. There is a greater acceptance of emotion in men, which he promotes, which, in this current climate, is needed.
“When someone… sees that respected, popular, positive public figures are talking about experiencing the same things, it normalises that experience” This is the same with any sort of positive representation, but it can help push people into seeking help and accepting themselves.
There is a major stigma concerning being emotional in men and it’s always been taught that a man being emotional is weak, and it’s only in recent years that this idea is getting pushback ,with BBNO$ being a part of the wider challenge of this stigma as he openly talks about his mental health and even calling out men who promote this stigma like Andrew Tate.
I found Bbno$ music through TikTok, and funnily enough, through the Love and Deepspace fandom, which I have previously mentioned on the blog. When he cosplayed Sylus, I started to see more about the artists, and then, as I do with every new artist I find, I binge-listened to his music and fell into the hole.
TikTok did its job eventually and kept giving me videos from this artist, where I got to know personalities and became more of a fan than just a casual listener. Doing my dance series, I naturally have to listen to an artist more than once, so it forced me to get to know his songs when I chose to dance to his discography for TikTok and Instagram.
The fact is that he had promoted on TikTok since 2019 when his song La La La was released, so he's had a lot of experience with the platform, which is where he has blown up the most. TikTok is important for artists' promotion, and BBNO$ seems to have understood this, gaining a mainly Gen Z audience for his music, with a big part of that happening by utilising the TikTok platform to promote his music.
There is a lot of confidence that comes off from not only him but also the music as well, and that rubs off on the listeners as well, including me. Music can affect someone's mood and day, and I remember how listening to his music on the way to my morning shifts would make me more confident and awake than before.
I have always had anxiety, especially on days when I am the most stressed. Sometimes, I do need upbeat music, such as BBNO$, to help start my day. I respect his confidence and honesty, and similar to Loreen, I get a welcoming and fun energy that keeps me coming back to listen.
His music was very different from what I was used to listening to, and that upbeat tone was something that really drew me in as someone who loved EDM and dance music, which fitted closest to some of his music. By watching more interviews of him I was able to gain more respect for his outlook on life and how he views his mental health challenges.
Like bbno$’s raw honesty about mental health and genre-defying hustle, Singorama cuts through the noise of “perfect vocals” to celebrate authentic voice. Forget manufactured pop formulas — this program champions real growth over polish, teaching you to own your sound with science-backed techniques, not just scales. Whether you’re battling anxiety or dreaming of collabs, its audio-focused lessons meet you where you are — no judgment, just progress. Because true artistry isn’t about hiding behind production; it’s the courage to sound human. Ready to write your story?🔉 Find your Voice here — https://dd0541k7tny215eeqfwnu0u-0k.hop.clickbank.net
“I don’t care about the falling‑off principle. After having ‘Lalala,’ I’m the ‘Lalala’ Guy. I have 50, 60 songs waiting to come out.” From DJBooth, which hints back to how BBNO$ is not afraid to be himself and stick to what he believes in when he makes his music, and now what others want him to be, no matter how trendy he is.
I am so happy to see the new wave of artists who are accepting of not only themselves but also what they believe in. BBNO$ has always been vocal about his support for the LGBTQ community and many social causes, and this is refreshing when many artists are afraid to express what they believe in.
